There are hammocks in the lovely garden, so you can spend the day reading or having a nap. The rooms are clean, furnished, and well looked after. The homestay is very central, next to a supermarket, which is handy for evening drinks and checking out the nightlife in Kuta. The noise was the main drawback for me. The family gets loud in the mornings, and the mosque doesn't help if you're trying to get a good night's sleep. Great value for the price, though.

The staff were really helpful with transport and other bookings, and scooters are available too. There's a nice little garden with hammocks, plus free tea and coffee all day. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure good, but it was cold water only. That didn't bother us in the heat. We didn't find bugs in the room or bathroom, despite the comment below, just one mosquito. Very good value for what you pay.

The family were lovely. They moved us to an air-conditioned room for a good price because roads were available, and wanted us to be comfortable. Breakfast was great, with unlimited tea and coffee all day. Great location and a nice room for the price.

A cheap, clean place with friendly people and breakfast included. You can pick a banana pancake or omelette. Scooter hire on a Honda Vario is cheap, and they also offer tours, surfing lessons, and shuttle rides.

There's a small outdoor space for yoga, and tea and coffee are free all day. Breakfast is small, with a pancake or toast with egg or omelette. The rooms are big and clean, and the fans work. WiFi could be better. If you need reliable internet, get a SIM card since there's 4G here. A very good affordable place to stay.
