The room looked out onto the garden, where we watched squirrels playing in the trees by the balcony in the mornings. We had a basic room, but it had everything we needed. The hotel is tucked down a side street in the middle of the shops and restaurants, and opens onto a pool and gardens that feel like an unexpected oasis. There are a few loungers, a sofa, tables and chairs by the pool, plus a couple of other spots to relax. It’s great value for the location. Food and drink choices at the hotel are limited, but with so much nearby, we didn’t order anything there. We skipped the hotel breakfast too and found a great place about 100 metres down the road.

We’ll definitely stay here again. It’s a tucked-away gem off Garlic Lane, but still close to everything. The gardens are gorgeous and the pool’s beautiful. Our clean, well-kept room was cleaned every day, and the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple, but really nice.

Legian is full of tourists, but this place feels like a peaceful little pocket of Bali right in the middle of it. A real hidden gem. I’d love to come back someday.

We had a few little room annoyances: chairs outside but no table, a table inside but no chair, no bedside table, and shower towels but none for hands. Small things, and easy enough to fix, so I imagine the staff may sort them out. The room itself was clean and nice, with a clean toilet and a refrigerator. The hotel garden is full of lovely greenery and has a pool, and it was quiet, with no noise from the streets. It’s close to the beach and lots of bars and restaurants. Breakfast wasn’t huge, but it was fine, with several options: jam, butter and toast, two eggs, Indonesian sandwiches, or rice with chicken and an egg. Each came with some fruit and coffee.
