Impiana Private Villas Seminyak

The staff at Impiana were exceptionally kind and welcoming, always smiling and willing to help. They went out of their way to move us to a villa with enclosed living areas after we explained the problem. Agoda wasn't helpful when we raised it with them. The three-bedroom villa listing on Agoda hadn't made clear that the living, dining, and kitchen areas were open to the outdoors, with no doors or air conditioning, just fans. Geckos, frogs, and lizards wandered in. The third bedroom was also set away from the other two, which wasn't clearly explained. Our kids were afraid to sleep there without a parent, and it was too hot for us to use the open living space. We moved to a two-bedroom villa instead and were happy with that. Breakfast was nice, with an open buffet of croissants, bread, deli ham, pastries, and fruit, plus made-to-order meals such as a big breakfast or bacon and egg roll. The villas have their own pools, but there wasn't much for the kids to do, so we went out each day to keep them entertained. Trans Studio is a great shopping centre with an amazing theme park inside, and I'd highly recommend it. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, convenience stores, and money exchange places within a few minutes' walk. Grab cost around $5 AUD to get from Seminyak to Kuta, about a 30-minute drive. The beach is roughly a five-minute drive from the villa.

The huge private pool and the quiet, peaceful feel were what I loved most, especially given the villa is right in Seminyak. I stayed on the Jl. Kunti side near Prana Spa, which was a really relaxing spot. The villa itself was beautiful, and the staff were warm, kind, and always glad to help. The food was great too, and everything felt calm and easy. I've visited Bali many times, and this was one of my favourite villa stays. I'd happily come back.

The two-bedroom villa was amazing, very clean and had everything we needed. The private garden and pool were beautifully maintained, and the location was great with easy buggy access. The staff were attentive, helpful, and so friendly. Even the groundsmen and security greeted us warmly in the morning and late at night when we came back. We stayed seven nights at Impiana Private Villas and would definitely book again if we return to Bali.

The villas are spacious, private, and beautifully designed, with lovely pools. The interiors are a little dated, but the size and pool make up for that. As accommodation on its own, it's hard to fault. The bigger issue is the layout of the resort. There are several villa locations, and you only find out which one you've been assigned on arrival. We ended up in the Sunset Beach-side villas, a long way from reception and dining, so getting to breakfast meant taking a buggy. It wasn't an easy walk. Room service was affected too: food and coffee often arrived cold. We'd picked the property because we wanted to be near the Frestive supermarket area, but our allocated villa was much farther away than expected. The food was average, and breakfast was limited rather than a full buffet, which was disappointing at this price. If a large private villa and pretty pool are your main priorities, it delivers. For location, convenience, or food quality, it may not suit, especially for the cost. It didn't quite meet our expectations.
