Dekuta Hotel

I came back recently for a bit of nostalgia while passing by the hotel. My first stay was in 2018, when I spent over a week here during my first extended visit to Bali, but I never wrote a review then. The staff are still friendly, and the place is as clean and simple as I remembered, if not better. It’s affordable and sits in the heart of Bali’s earliest tourist area. A pleasant stay.

It’s a five-minute walk to Kuta beach and Beachwalk shopping centre, and the price is very reasonable. The pool was perfect and never busy. The rooms are a good size and clean, and all the staff are lovely. Great hotel.

The balcony looks out over the garden and pool, and the garden is very well kept, with no dead insects or mold in sight. The pool was great, too. The hotel is just a three-minute walk from the famous kuta beach and basically next to the kuta beach walk mall. People here are so nice and patient. The rooms were incredibly clean, with sheets that smelled of detergent, and no strong, old smell like I’d noticed in other Bali hotels. Staff came by daily to clean, and they were very nice. The towels didn’t have that same detergent smell, but they felt warm and fresh when they were brought in. Best hotel I’ve been in Bali.

The staff were lovely and friendly, and the 20m pool was great. Rooms were great too, with brilliant air conditioning. Breakfast had a huge spread: croissants, cakes, rice dishes, noodles, fish, melon, bacon, sausages, marmalade, toast, tea, coffee, omelette, roast chicken, curry, pancakes, and lots more. Eat as much as you like. Fully recommend. Thanks, guys.
