Ivanka Airport Inn

The air conditioning and hot water worked, and the spring beds were decent. Still, the room smelled a bit off, the bathroom drain was slow, and the bed covers weren't clean enough, with footprints and stains on them. It's a little far from the main street, and our room wasn't as nice as the advertised one. For a single night at a reasonable price, it was so-so.

Hot water and AC were a nice touch, and it was passable for one night, but I would avoid staying longer. I was honestly shocked at how run down it felt, like nobody had been maintaining it. The place looked very different from the online photos. The sheets and towels need replacing, and the walls definitely need a fresh coat of paint.

A very close-to-the-airport, cheap place to rest if you miss a flight or have time to kill after checking out. If you're backpacking on a tight budget, this is much better than waiting at the airport. Recommended.

The staff were welcoming and let us leave our bags under the stairs before check-in while we went out. The bed was comfortable, the room had a nice TV stand and wardrobe, and the AC worked brilliantly against the humid heat. Our room's bathroom door was there and intact, though not great quality. We could hear literally everything from the other rooms, though, so the soundproofing is poor. The bathroom needs work. The shower's boiler gave about five minutes of hot water, then the water stayed cool. The sink, toilet, and drain hadn't been cleaned, and there was bad mold under the boiler. There was just one towel, as other reviews mentioned. It was clean but tatty. The bedding had some stains, but it had been cleaned well. The bed was clean and large, and the doors and locks weren't great, though secure enough. The place is about a 15-minute walk from the airport, down an uneven road that felt sketchy, with loud bikes and cars struggling to get through. The hotel advertises an airport shuttle, but ours never arrived, so we made our own way there. It wasn't awful, just very hot with our bags. The entrance was unfinished and dirty, and the huge empty lobby had one table, a makeshift kitchenette, and a small reception desk by the stairs. It was fine to spend the night in the comfortable room before or after a flight. But the property feels like it opened too soon. It may be too large for the owners' needs or budget, and the decor is below average. We've stayed in nicer hostels. I think it has potential, but they need to put money back into improving it.
