A nice little oasis in the city, with a good atmosphere, pool and location. The staff were very helpful, and the service was excellent. The room could use a facelift, but everything else was fine.

I was there with my partner for her birthday, and we had a really great stay. We liked the Javanese room design, and the staff were lovely. They did a pretty good job with my request to arrange birthday surprises for her.

I was so happy with this one-night stay and wished I could’ve stayed longer 🥹. It was a long weekend, and I just needed a room for the night before my flight. Luckily I found a hotel right near toko oleh2 Krisna, practically an easy shuffle away. The staff were really friendly and funny. The room was big enough for me, with a traditional, calm feel and quiet yellow lighting. There’s a pool and a bathtub, plus an outdoor shower, which was a bonus 😂. It’s also easy to get around the Dewi Sri and Legian areas. The room could’ve been cleaner. There was some trash left behind, dust and spider webs.

The house design is my favorite part. It’s based on rumah Jawa (Paiton house), with a private foyer, wooden doors, Sokka roofs, and plants and flowers all around. Despite leaving the door open several times, hardly any roaches, caterpillars or lizards came into the room. The location is tucked away from Sunset Road and Dewi Sri road, so it’s quiet, but beaches and places to shop or eat are still accessible. Krisna and Agung ( souvenirs center ) are nearby, and there’s laundry, a 24-hour warung across from the hotel, and a Circle K within walking distance. The pool was clean and usable, and they provide nice amenities, though they don’t offer slippers, so bring your own. There’s parking if you rent a motor or car. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. They even accepted my parcels before I checked in, and they don’t ask for a deposit. Kampung Cenik is really underrated. Thanks to the team. I’d recommend it and will definitely return.

The place has a lovely old-fashioned design, and my room was clean and interestingly decorated. The staff were helpful and friendly even with the language barrier, so keep your gg translation app handy just in case. I’d definitely recommend staying here in Bali 🌺
