Amanlane Villa Seminyak by ARM

I was happy with the spacious rooms, ensuite bathrooms, strong AC, good water pressure, cleanliness, and friendly staff. The area was generally quiet, and a roughly 10-minute bike ride got me to the beach, shops, and restaurants. But the kitchen was a big reason I booked, since I’m travelling long term and like to cook. At check-in, the receptionist said they were out of gas and would replace it, but that never happened. I asked twice to have the filtered water refilled too, without success. There weren’t even basic pots, so I couldn’t use the kitchen. The listing said a kitchen and kitchenette were available, which I found misleading. If the kitchen had been properly equipped and working, I’d have happily stayed longer.

Far too far from the city, and the place didn’t look like the pictures. It seemed like nothing had been maintained: the room, bed, and sheets were all dirty. 21-01-26

Back at Amanlane Suite Seminyak for a second visit, and still no complaints, two thumbs up. The WiFi is fast and the TV has international channels. Hendra at Reception and Ketut Suyasa from Security were a big help with my very late or very early, 2 am, check-ins. Made yogi in Housekeeping was also very accommodating when I needed help cleaning the bathroom and floor.

One of my best stays, across Bali and Asia. The rooms were good, but Hendra was the reason I loved it so much. He was really nice and accommodating.
