Kuta Sari House

I arrived at 10 PM before an early flight and got a first-floor room. It was small, with no direct morning sunlight, and I could still smell smoke from the lobby. The sheets looked dirty and had stains, though the room itself was fairly neat. The toilet was clean, I had a towel and bath mat, and the AC worked fine. There was a TV with local channels and two bottles of mineral water. I thought the hot water wasn't working at first, but I just needed to wait longer. A decent place to get a night's sleep.

The location was good, but that was about it. I'm not sure what they mean by a two-star hotel, because this place felt far from that. Fine for one night, no more. I asked to check out at 2 PM instead of noon and they wanted 100k, which seemed like a joke when I'd paid 150k for the night.

Good location in Legian, easy to get around from, with bars and clubs close by but far enough that their noise didn't keep me awake. The staff were really nice. It's budget accommodation and seems mostly geared toward local guests.

Right in the heart of kuta, beside indomaret and close to pretty much everything, including kuta beach. The price is affordable and all the staff were very friendly, so it was worth what I paid. The hotel and room are definitely dated, though, and a lot of things were dirty or rusty. The shower and sink were rusty, the sliding shower door wouldn't lock, the corners of the walls were dusty, and there was dirt around the exhaust. The hole in the shower room made me uncomfortable. The power sockets weren't placed well: one was hard to reach behind the bed, and another was way up above door level. At least I got a room with a window. Thank you.
