For the price, this is a really good value guesthouse as long as you aren't expecting luxuries. Double rooms come with air conditioning, a basic ensuite bathroom, and a simple breakfast. The staff are lovely and speak good English. It's right on the main strip, so bring earplugs and bug spray for nighttime. Scooters with helmets are available to rent for 50k a day, and the one I got was in okay condition.
For a relatively affordable price, the facilities felt worth it. My room was spacious and clean, with fresh sheets, a clean bed cover, and a tidy shower. I was also surprised to find a little area for cooking or keeping food and drinks.
There are much better places in the area for the same price. This one is small and pretty basic. The staff are very nice, but they don't speak much English, which made it hard to communicate or ask for advice. While we were there, construction upstairs started early in the morning and carried on until quite late at night.
The service was good, and so was breakfast. When I arrived at krisna homestay, the room I'd booked three months earlier was still occupied by another guest. They moved us to a room with a fan until the next day and made up for it by giving us three days of free motorcycle rental.
We didn't stay because the homestay was fully booked, but the guy at reception was really cute and friendly. The rooms looked clean and spacious. If I come back to kuta lombok, I'd stay here.
