I paid $200 for five nights, which felt far too expensive for a guest house in this condition. They did eventually clean the room, but I still don’t think it was worth the price. The place is right beside a busy road, with a lot of noise and traffic from noon into the night. When I arrived, the room was dirty: the bed linen hadn’t been changed, there were yellow urine stains on the toilet, toothpaste marks across the bathroom floor, and the bedroom floor hadn’t been swept or mopped. It looked as if someone had used the room before me and it hadn’t been properly cleaned. When I complained, the owner told me not to “talk too much” because nobody else had complained. She saw the room herself and knew what I was saying was true. She was going to offer a refund, but my child was exhausted and I was heavily pregnant, so in the Bali heat I didn’t have the energy to move or look for somewhere else. I wish I could include photos. This was a huge disappointment.

My family and I were left stuck late at night because the owner said she couldn’t find our booking, even though we showed it to her. The service was horrible. The room also wasn’t very clean, there were bugs in the restroom, and the pool was a contaminated-looking green. I wouldn’t recommend it. Find a real hotel and don’t waste your time, money, or peace of mind. Zero out of ten.

We were staying near the airport with my family, and Liliy & Ketut were great to deal with, really friendly and providing great service. Our poolside rooms were well priced and exactly as pictured. I have to agree about the amazing water pressure too. You can arrange scooter rental and laundry service, and Jalan Legian and the beach are very close. For anywhere else in Kuta, it’s a Gojek ride away. We’ll be back.

It’s a lovely new guest house in a great spot. The owners and their family live on site and treat guests like family, and the rooms and outdoor areas are always kept clean and tidy. Restaurants, bars, convenience stores, pharmacies, and shops are all an easy walk away. The beach is about a ten minute walk too, unless the shopping distracts you along the way 😁, or you can go by Go-jek/Grab.
