Lori Beach Inn

It felt like home.

I stayed four nights in early June and picked this place because it was convenient for my appointments. The stay turned out to be beautiful. The room is above a shop, but nights were generally peaceful, and inside it felt more like a boutique hotel than the exterior suggests. No TV, but the bed and bedding were the best I’ve had while travelling in Southeast Asia. I kept nodding off whenever I sat on it. There were a few plumbing problems and bugs coming from the drain, but Ray fixed things the same day. The details really made the room: very clean, lovely plants, tissues, lemongrass shower gel and shampoo, a skylit tiled bathroom, soft lamps, thick large towels, a four-poster bed, artisan cups, a fridge and a water cooler. It felt designed by someone with a real eye for interiors. I’d stay again.

It was one of the cleanest places I stayed during my month in Bali. The owner was so kind and helpful, and the place was quiet and comfortable. The beach is five minutes away, with lots of spots nearby for breakfast, food, or a massage. I’ll definitely come back.

The accommodation had a brotherly, welcoming feel.
