The staff were lovely, but the stay was uncomfortable even though it was very cheap. Agoda advertised a whole villa, and the room we got didn’t match the online photos at all. There were lots of ants, no toilet paper, no natural light, and the pool was dirty. Don’t be fooled by the listing.

There’s a kitchen here, so we could cook the seafood we got from nearby Kedonganan Fish Market. The place was very clean, and our room was tidied every day while we were out. It’s also near Jimbaran Beach, which is lovely for sunset and ikan bakar. Affordable, and I’d stay again if I come back to Bali.

I stayed for eleven months and was very comfortable, without any major problems. The host and manager were easy to talk to, and the rooms have private bathrooms and kitchenettes that cover everyday needs. For work trips lasting weeks or months, it’s a quiet, simple guesthouse where you can unwind after a busy day. Just don’t expect five-star treatment, luxury facilities, or VIP service. Those are the reasons I gave it five stars.
