Pondok Bobo Seminyak

After a noisy night in the upstairs room, I couldn't find anyone in the morning, so I left the key in the door. Getting in hadn't gone smoothly either. I arrived around 8 pm after booking and paying online, then waited at the check-in desk for half an hour, ringing the bell and calling the number on the website. A teenage boy eventually came by with his friends. He said his mum ran the place and tried calling her, but got no answer. Another woman waiting there said nobody had been at the desk all day; she wanted the Wi-Fi password, but the boy didn't know it. He told me there was an empty room upstairs and its key was in the door. The bed was made, though there was a used towel in the bathroom and no toilet paper. Never again.

The room was clean and the internet was okay, and it was a comfortable, quiet spot down a small road opposite Bo&Bun. There isn't a sign on the main road. When I arrived, no one was at reception, so I waited quite a while. They'd also forgotten to leave a pillowcase and towel in the room. Still, I had a good stay.

I made a last-minute booking through agoda, and the room showed as available. When I got there, they told me the place was full. The employees were unprofessional and irresponsible. If the rooms are full, they should update the availability.

There are just six rooms, so it never felt too crowded. The place was cozy and comfortable, and the owner and staff were friendly, nice, and helpful.
