Made and her family and staff were so friendly and welcoming. Whenever we needed something, Made was there to help. My girlfriend and I first booked one week through AirBnB, then added two more because we liked it so much. We came from crowded, overpriced Canggu and found everything here cheaper and convenient. We walked everywhere and didn't need a motorcycle. The homestay is close to everything, yet we couldn't hear the city when we were inside. It's about five minutes on foot to the beach, three minutes to the party street if that's your thing, and around three minutes to our favourite warung, "Warung Indonesia." We also found the massages around here the best quality for the price so far, and it was easy to socialize with others outside the homestay. Our room had all we needed: a big comfortable bed, four good-quality pillows, A/C, lots of daylight, a TV with Netflix, and a private bathroom. It was thoroughly cleaned every three days, or when requested. Nice extras included some decent gym equipment, a large shared fridge, snacks available all day with toast and toppings and fresh bananas, and affordable laundry service. We liked the sound of water flowing, though I wish the pond had smaller fish so they'd have more room to swim happily. The big koï fishes are beautiful, but would be happier in a bigger pond. If we come back to Kuta, we'll definitely stay at Made's homestay again.
