Praba Guesthouse

I was exhausted, so getting here made me so happy. It’s super comfortable and clean, with aircon, and less than 800m from the airport on foot. They even provide free water bottles, toothpaste, and a toothbrush, literally everything I needed for the night.

A comfortable bed, strong shower, pool, good wifi, a quiet room with curtains that keep out the morning light, cool and quiet air conditioning, and a big breakfast, all within walking distance of Denpasar airport. Check-in was quick and easy, the staff were super friendly, and there was cold Bintang in the fridge. There may be cheaper places near the airport, but probably not better value. I’ve stayed twice already, and Praba Guesthouse is now my automatic choice for arriving in and leaving Bali. Tempat tinggal sempurna!

A very sweet family runs the place. We picked it for the good reviews and because it’s walking distance from the airport, though a taxi can take you too. The price is very good for what you get: a good bed, airco, warm shower, and a simple but tasty breakfast. I’d recommend it if you arrive late and want a good night’s sleep. Checkout is 12:00.

The pool looked like a lovely place to unwind, and the rooms and hallways were spotless. The staff were attentive, and the place felt more like a boutique hotel than a simple guesthouse. We’d only chosen Praba Guesthouse as an affordable last stop before our flight, but wished we’d stayed longer. It was comfortable and clean, a nice place to return to even when we weren’t spending the day there. Despite being so close to the airport, there was very little plane noise. The narrow lanes around it made walking out less enjoyable, but that was acceptable with all the positives and the easy access to lively Kuta.
