We stayed at three hotels, and this was the only one where we got bitten all over. My daughter had at least ten mosquito bites, even though we used both spray and oil. Then I got dengue fever. The villas have small ponds with dirty water, which seems like a breeding ground for dengue, and the place is behind a river too. Just thinking about it makes me feel sick. It felt like a recipe for disaster.

The original Balinese pool is lovely, and the breakfast was good. Shops and restaurants are nearby, with Salt just up the road for live music. Really nice food and great cocktails. The staff are friendly and helpful xox

I was put off by some of the reviews, to be honest, but we took a chance and had a great time. We stayed in rooms 108 and 109. They’re older rooms, but the guys came in to clean every day, and when my bedside lamp broke, they fixed it within an hour. The pool may not be as big as some nearby, but it was amazing, clean, and well cared for. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

The free breakfast had a generous mix of local and international choices, and the pool was a relaxing spot among lush greenery. My room was about 400 sq ft, with a lovely design, everything I needed, and a very comfortable bed. It felt luxurious, with lots of attention to detail. Housekeeping, staff, and amenities were all what I’d expect from a five-star hotel, and I felt pampered throughout my trip to Bali in March 2024. The stay exceeded my expectations. I’m already looking forward to coming back, and would choose this hotel again for its comfort, service, and location. Highly recommended!

The traditional hotel and landscape are amazing, and the villas are old but well kept. There’s room for the whole family in one spot, and it’s a great place to relax and have a chilled holiday. It’s near good food and massage places, with cheap local laundry. The food at the hotel is much the same every day. The pool is good, but they’re constantly running out of towels. There are lots of mozzies and wildlife.
