Sleepwell Seminyak

We weren’t thrilled with the stay. We only found out about construction the day before arrival, too late to cancel. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. I asked when the wifi would be working again, but nobody answered.

We had a really enjoyable stay and I’d book this hotel again if I returned to Seminyak. The rooms are very spacious and have a safe, kettle, coffee, toothpaste, toothbrush, laundry rack, AC, and hot water. There’s also a beautiful pool. It’s quiet, tucked away on an inner street but still well located near bars, restaurants, and a supermarket. The beach is about a 15-minute walk, or just a few minutes by motorbike. There’s a hotel restaurant with delicious food and breakfast, though breakfast isn’t included.

Nopi and Ary were nice and helpful, and we liked the breakfast menu at Sahasa, the restaurant they work with. It’s a well-located hotel, with eight rooms and a lovely shared pool. We chose it as the last stop on our honeymoon. Though it’s near a main road, it sits off a dark alley that could feel scary to walk alone at night. The manager, Ninik, was hard to find and only available on WhatsApp. She said the honeymoon setup came with an extra charge, which felt odd since it was just a welcome gesture we’d expect many places to offer. Our AC had a problem, and she got it fixed right away, so thanks for that, but the unit was old and didn’t do much. The room was large and the bed comfortable, but the bathroom was disappointing. We had to ask for soap, and there were no small amenities beyond half-full shampoo and body wash. No face or hair towel, and no slippers, even though the bathroom was wet all the time. I kept a towel outside to use for my face and hair the next day, since they only replaced the two big towels. The drinking water provided wasn’t enough when we also used it to brush our teeth. The mini fridge was empty, though we could store our own things in it. The breakfast menu at Sahasa is separate depending on whether your room includes breakfast. The floating pool breakfast shown in the pictures costs 100k Rp if breakfast is included with your room, or 200k if it isn’t.

A hidden gem. Set a little back from the Main Street, the hotel is peaceful and away from the bustle. The staff were attentive, and the bedrooms were spacious with everything we needed, including tea, coffee, a kettle, and a fridge. The pool was clean, and they offered pool towels every day. Breakfast is served at a restaurant a one-minute walk away, with lots of food and drink choices at great prices. We’d definitely stay again. Thank you!
