The staff were polite and easy to talk to, but the service itself was poor. We had a very bad two-day stay and moved to another hotel on the third day. Small cockroaches were crawling around in both the room and bathroom, which was disturbing. I reported the AC problem several times. Staff came back to try fixing it, but the temperature never changed and it stayed unresolved. Breakfast was another disappointment. Flies were all over the food, most items had run out before 10 AM, and the food that was left didn't look fresh. On our second day, they said breakfast was finished before the stated service time was up. After I insisted, they made me an omelette, but the experience was still very poor. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. It could ruin your trip.

The location and price are good, the room was clean enough and had everything, and the staff and security were friendly and helpful. Still, the hotel seems old and short on maintenance. The AC didn't work properly, some windows wouldn't lock and could be opened, which felt unsafe, and the water smelled a bit. There isn't much car parking space. I was also concerned about the beach chairs, or whatever they are, being placed under outdoor AC units with very rusty supports. They need a bit of renovation. Even so, it's a good hotel overall.

My mum and friend spent one night at Solaris hotel, and it was a really frustrating stay. The room AC wasn't working, and mosquitoes were everywhere, so they couldn't sleep comfortably. Staff said they understood English, but it was hard to communicate and their concerns weren't properly dealt with. Very uncomfortable experience. I'd give zero stars if I could, and I don't recommend the hotel.

The photos on Google don't match the rooms. Ours was small, the bathroom had very little space, and there was no hairdryer. Breakfast was okay, but the broken room tiles and squeaky floor tiles made it feel nowhere near a 3-star hotel.

Loved staying here, especially being so close to the beach and surrounded by shops, places to eat, money changers, and massage spots. The rooms were clean and tidy, and they provided towels and tea. Staff were helpful and courteous. Glad I booked it.
