Swiss Belhotel Tuban

We stayed at Anathera Resort Kuta for two weeks with a family group of 20, and came away with wonderful memories. The whole team made us feel welcome. Nikken, Melinda, and the reception staff were excellent communicators, and the kitchen and restaurant teams always served us with a smile. Krysna drove us to and from the airport, and was so kind and helpful to our family throughout the stay that we ended up thinking of him as a friend. The airport shuttle was a real highlight. We felt safe too, and the security team helped recover items we'd left in Grab cars. The location was handy for the airport, shops, restaurants, malls, and markets. Nearby businesses and the local community were friendly as well. We were comfortable and happy here, and would gladly recommend the resort to visitors to Bali.

The large pool was well maintained, and the little spa had very reasonable prices. The children's play area was in great shape too, with warm, kind supervisors. Location is a big plus: the resort is central in Kuta, most restaurants are walkable, and Indian guests will find plenty of dining options within 10 minutes on foot. Rooms are a bit small. The breakfast selection can feel limited for Indian and vegetarian guests, and there aren't many vegetarian dishes on the in-house restaurant menu, though nearby restaurants make that less of a problem. One inconvenience for families was that takeaway boxes weren't allowed at the breakfast buffet, even for children. I'd recommend it mainly for the location and family-friendly facilities. Service could be better.

Breakfast was included from 6 to 10am, and was a treat, with different dishes rotating each day and a nice view of the pool. Mr. Putra at reception deserves a mention for being patient, kind, smiling, and accommodating. He helped with everything from a room upgrade to arranging breakfast lunchboxes for our day tour. The service and facilities gave us everything we needed and more. The gym is very basic and due for an upgrade, though it still does the job. There was a little mould between the bathroom tiles, but the room was still lovely, with clean bedding, soft comfortable pillows, and good air-conditioning.

The food was delicious, with plenty of choice and fresh options each day, and everything we tried was full of flavour and nicely presented. Our room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable, and the beautifully kept grounds added to the relaxing feel of Anathera Resort in Kuta, Bali. From arrival, the staff were genuinely warm and attentive, always ready to help and never making anything feel like a bother. Their service made us feel valued, and we had a memorable stay from beginning to end. We'd happily stay again and recommend the resort to anyone visiting Kuta.
