A peaceful spot right in the city, with friendly, helpful staff and a clean, quiet room. The bathroom sink leaked a little, though it wasn’t a big issue. I stayed two nights on a work trip and was impressed. Overall, it was a great stay.

Breakfast was what I looked forward to most at Hotel Atanaya. There was a lovely range of Indonesian food, all delicious and authentically made, and the Indonesian desserts tasted especially homemade and traditional. My stay itself was comfortable and welcoming too. I’d happily recommend the hotel to anyone who enjoys Indonesian flavors in the morning.

We had a really pleasant week here. The rooftop pool was clean, with a lovely view, and housekeeping did a very good job. The food and breakfast were good, hygienic and healthy, with tasty nasi uduk and turmeric and sour herbal drink, plus Javanese Beras kencur. The location makes it easy to get onto the main road and travel to Seminyak, Legian, Kuta, the airport, the beach, bars, Canggu, Denpasar and Uluwatu. Great place, good access, and a very nice pool.

The location worked well for us, and having a scooter made getting around easy. You’ll need to arrange transport to go out otherwise. The room is a good size for two and fine for a stay of one to three nights. I’d stay here again.

It’s very affordable and makes it easy to get around Denpasar and nearby areas. My room was clean, comfortable, and kept in good condition. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend it if you want quality on a budget.
