The Kumpi Villas

The staff were a lovely bunch, but the manager refused to talk with us about our concerns. I've never had a worse stay. There was no sound insulation, so we could hear the neighbours talking through the night on one side and a full-length movie on the other.

For the price we paid, our stay wasn't good. The rooms and facilities were very worn, the toilet smelled, and the faucet and shower nozzles were so sharp they hurt. The rooms were dim, and the fans didn't work well. There was only one person cooking breakfast for our group of ten, so the staff struggled and the food arrived cold. We also had a sudden power outage, which was understandable, but it took lots of follow-ups and arguments before backup power was arranged. There seemed to be nobody in charge. The one saving grace was that the staff on site were smiling and hardworking.

We spent six nights in a three-bedroom villa with a private pool during summer. The pool was very good, and the villa itself was spacious, well designed and private. The location was handy, near the active area and not far from the beach, although the lane leading to the villas is very narrow. It was clean, but cleanliness could be better. Most of the towels were old, and sometimes they weren't clean. The staff were super nice. Breakfast was freshly cooked in the villa at the time we requested. Two to four staff would come to cook, set the table and serve, though sometimes they arrived a little late. Overall, a very good experience.

The people working here were amazing. Walking in felt like arriving with family, and we're grateful for everything they did. We had a private pool, comfy beds, AC, and good hot water pressure. Breakfast was cooked each morning while we swam and recovered from the night before. Town centre is an easy walk. We'll be back.
