The kids had a great time in the pool, though they came away with lots of mosquito bites. There were also quite a few lizards in the room, which made them a little nervous. The staff were friendly, and Restu and Nadin were especially helpful and fun to chat with. Our stay was okay overall.

We had a great nine-night stay. The villa was clean and nice, and the staff were wonderful, always happy to help. There’s a bank and a shop within walking distance too.

The service at the villa was really good, and we were very satisfied overall 👍. I just wish the essentials had been provided without us needing to ask. The pool looked clear for the first two days, then turned cloudy after that, even though it had been cleaned.

The most frustrating part was how the management responded after I posted a review on Traveloka. They claimed I had asked them not to clean the pool because of allergies. I never said that, and nobody in our group has allergy concerns. The only time we saw them come to clean it was around the third or fourth day, while we were swimming. They didn’t say anything about treating the pool, and could have come back the next day. After that response, the management came across as really unprofessional to me. The pool was green with algae by the end, so we couldn’t use it for the last few days. It was never cleaned during our stay. Our bed linen wasn’t changed or cleaned the whole week either, just straightened, and sometimes rubbish was left behind after the room was supposedly cleaned. We booked for five but got only three sets of towels. When we asked for more, they gave us pool towels, not shower towels. They also didn’t replace the toilet paper when it ran out, so I had to ask. The breakfast always came cold. The food we could order was cold too, and the portions felt small for the price. The staff were friendly, but didn’t seem able to sort out problems. The fridge door was broken, so we couldn’t use the bottom door shelf. We never got hot water. Someone came, turned the taps on and off, said he’d return in ten minutes, then never came back. When two of the girls used the pillows with wet hair, black dots that looked like mold appeared on four pillows in total. For our girls’ trip, the villas were a real disappointment. They were old and run down, nothing like the photos. None of the doors locked, and neither safe had batteries, so we worried our things might be stolen whenever we went out. We won’t stay here again.
