Three Brothers Bungalows and Villas

The bathroom is outdoors, so keep that in mind. After rain, we even had a small snake come into the bathroom area, which was surprising. Otherwise, the apartment was nice, comfortable, and everything worked. A good place to stay for a few days, and a nice Bali experience.

I’ve stayed here twice. Prices have risen, but it’s still good value. The basic rooms are very comfortable, though I’d still pay for an upgrade to get a ground floor room. The pool is lovely and the service is faultless, very Bali. The restaurant is good quality, but pricey by Bali standards, so you might want to walk 50-100m for better value food. They need to sort out rubbish collection, as it was left stinking in the carpark. It didn’t affect us beyond having to walk past it. Not every room has a smart TV, but that wasn’t really an issue. The outdoor bathrooms are lovely and very private.

We booked a one-night stay in a two-bedroom villa, but left within two hours. The villa looked beautiful, with a nice layout and private pool, but neither toilet flushed properly. All three TVs had only one channel. We tried calling for room service and got no answer, and reception said they couldn’t help. We also found broken tiles in the pool, which felt like a serious safety risk because someone could easily get cut. When we told reception we were leaving and asked if they wanted to know why, they said, “No, not really.” With the lack of service, the safety issues, and no interest in our feedback, we can’t recommend it as it is.

The buffet breakfast had something for every taste, and the hotel is handy for the beach and shops. We especially loved our villa with its own pool. Friendly staff too, a great place to stay.
