Villa Blubambu

Breakfast was a treat, with fresh options to choose from each day and a time that worked for us. We had the most memorable Bali holiday here, and left with friendships we hope will last. Thanks so much to Matthew, Gede, and the whole team. We'll see you again in 2024. Susan & Chris Villa Blubambu has five private villas around two peaceful open pool areas, right in the heart of Seminyak. The rooms were beautifully put together, with king-size beds, soft pillows, and lovely private bathrooms. Whichever villa you stay in, there's a picturesque pool right outside. Everything felt clean and relaxing, and the staff took wonderful care of us. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

The neighborhood was peaceful, and it was easy to reach nearby beaches, shops, and restaurants with a short walk or drive. Villa Blubambu is in a lovely spot in Seminyak, close to the lively center but still a quiet place to get away. My stay was a dream from arrival to departure. The villa was beautiful and elegant, and the whole holiday exceeded my expectations.

The one thing to keep in mind is that some of the nearby lanes are quite dark, so be a bit more careful if you're nervous about walking alone. Apart from that, I couldn't fault the stay and will be back. We met Matthew, the owner, who was clearly proud of the place and his team. Villa 3 was lovely, with a modest-sized main room, king bed, and mosquito net, plus a large bathroom with a shower and bath. The place was so quiet, which mattered a lot to me and made for restful nights. It's within walking distance of local eateries and Seminyak's beachfront. Gede, the hotel manager, was great to communicate with before we arrived. I explained what we were coming for and got answers to all my questions. They helped arrange an airport shuttle, midweek plans, and dinner bookings. I arrived fairly late and Robert picked me up. He was friendly and talked me through the roughly 25-minute drive back to the villa. Check-in was easy, and the team took time to explain the area and give us a map. Breakfast was another big factor for me, and it was amazing. We could choose what we wanted each day and make changes as needed. The team were always friendly and made us comfortable, while also giving us space unless we needed help.

Two pools, a huge clean open-air room, and an outdoor shower wrapped in bamboo. The location was superb and the service was just as good. Gede, the manager, was excellent, and breakfast could be customized. Robert can drive you for your whole stay, which is a huge plus. He knows all the back roads and shortcuts, and he's incredibly patient and trustworthy. That alone would be enough reason to stay, with everything else making Blubamboo a perfect place.
