We had a great time here as a group of 17, and the staff were helpful and attentive. The villa setup works really well for a big group, but the maintenance needs attention. The pool tiles are grubby, and one pool couldn’t be used. Some bathroom taps don’t work or have no hot water. One bathroom door locks while you’re inside, so you can’t get out without calling family. There are also loose sections of decking that could be dangerous, especially for kids. The villas need some work.

The villa is spacious, the AC worked fine, and it’s centrally located, so getting to the main attractions was quick. Most of the staff were helpful and nice. The problem was the villa manager, who was disrespectful and arrogant and tried to charge us at the end of the holiday for things that were already broken when we arrived or had worn down from years of poor maintenance. Broken pool tiles were lying on the bottom, and we cut ourselves on them the first day. We ended up diving to get the pieces out, but some broken bits were still glued in place. Loose woodwork around the outside had nails sticking out in several places. Someone came to fix the loose planks, but the nails were still sticking out. Many doors, sinks, and showers were in such bad shape they barely worked. The host was inadequate, unfortunately.
