Villa Koru

The daily breakfasts were sensational, two courses with a healthy fruit bowl, scrambled eggs, coffee, and freshly squeezed juice. We came back each night to a clean villa with all the candles lit. Mia, the villa maid, and Putu, the driver, kept everything spotless. The villa was cleaned twice a day, beds made daily, and nothing was ever out of place. When we needed help after hours, staff were there straight away, helping book restaurants and sunset spots. They all went out of their way to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Villa Koru is a private sanctuary, modern yet traditional, spotless, and with every amenity at hand. Sun reached the whole villa all day because no buildings overshadowed it. It’s in a quiet, secluded area, yet only a six-minute walk from the busy spots, including the famous Bintang Supermarket. I’d spent ages looking for the right Seminyak accommodation, wanting the villa, location, and service all to be perfect. Villa Koru exceeded every expectation and is unbeatable for value. Five stars don’t feel like enough. I’ll definitely be back in the near future. Highly, highly recommend!

Mia and Budi gave us amazing service, and the breakfast was lovely. They were both so helpful. The place itself is beautiful, with a private pool. Michael, the owner, was also really helpful, sharing heaps of information before we left. If I could give ten stars, I definitely would. Thumbs up! 💯💯💯

There are plenty of restaurants near the villa, including vegetarian, vegan, and non-vegetarian options. The market is very close too, about 5-10 minutes away. The villa is beautiful, well maintained, and has lots of five-star facilities and services. Breakfast is included and really delicious: eggs and toast, fruit bowls with yoghurt and nuts, and a glass of juice. The staff are always ready to help. I’d definitely recommend this villa to everyone.

Six nights still didn’t feel like enough. I’m already trying to find a way to return as soon as possible, and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. The pool was incredible, and we spent much of the holiday lounging in or beside it. We also arranged a massage at the villa, which I’d highly recommend. Breakfast each day was wonderful, and Yanic, the housekeeper, was welcoming and accommodating. We ate in several times, which was easy with the full kitchen. Michael arranged a private driver for our week in Bali. He was flexible, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the area, and even became an impromptu tour guide. Michael was an amazing host. Before the trip, he answered question after question from our group with great advice and recommendations, and responded to emails so quickly. He and the staff had thought of every amenity. The villa is beautiful, comfortable, very clean, and conveniently located, yet stayed quiet day and night despite being in a busy city. The rooms were superb, and whenever an issue came up, the staff dealt with it straight away. It sounds corny, but Villa Koru really felt like heaven on earth.
