Villa London - Private 4 BDR Villa in Seminyak, Pool & Garden in prime Location

After visiting Bali many times over 12 years, this was the worst villa I’ve stayed in. It looked attractive at first and the location was good, but inside it was old, worn, and poorly maintained. Our villa was beside some kind of storage space with a foul smell that seeped into one bedroom. Staff sprayed air freshener twice a day to keep it down. The aircon in the second bedroom was broken, and without the bathroom aircon that room would have been unbearable in the Bali heat. There was visible mould on the bathtub sponge, and it wasn’t replaced during daily cleaning. Termite dust steadily built up on the dining table each day. Staff wiped it during breakfast setup, but the termites were still there. Breakfast was included and deeply unappetising. We found a hair in one dish one morning, then stopped eating breakfast at the villa. Bali has excellent breakfast places, and we preferred paying elsewhere to risking another hair. The staff were polite and cordial, but seemed oddly untrained. We couldn’t understand the lack of basic hygiene and cleanliness. Near the end, they offered an airport transfer and three complimentary coconut waters, which we declined politely. It was too little, too late, and felt like a band-aid over the villa’s real problems.

The grounds were a real highlight, quiet and peaceful even though the place is right in the middle of all the activity. We had a great stay with our two kids. The villas are spacious, the bedrooms comfortable with huge beds, and the bathrooms and tubs are massive. There’s a good pool and tanning beds too. The staff were next level, always ready to help with anything, including medical issues. They deserve five stars on their own. We’ll be back next time we’re in Bali. Thanks for a great stay.

The villas sit back from a busy part of Seminyak, so you get a peaceful retreat with restaurants, cafes, and shops right outside. Our villa was spacious, and the clean, well-kept pool was lovely. The staff were the best part of the stay, always helpful and serving with a smile. Thanks especially to Badana, Ayu, Daniel, Tari, Shri, and Devi for such kind service.

The only thing we missed was better lighting around the villa and bathroom, plus a full-length mirror for getting ready. Otherwise we had a great stay. It was quiet, private, and felt secure, with guards at the gates. The staff were polite, friendly, and always willing to help. Everything was clean, we had no trouble with bugs, flies, or mosquitoes, and the aircon kept the room comfortable for sleeping. The location was handy for the main shopping strips. I’d recommend the place.
