The most unsettling thing happened when I was walking through the villa and found an employee sitting in the storage closet inside it. We hadn't heard or seen him come in, and nobody had told us he would be there. He said he was doing inventory, but I feel staff should ask before entering a rented villa. There were several other problems during our two-night stay. The wardrobes had black dust in them, the shower floor and outdoor leather cushions were stained, and there was no toilet paper until we asked for some. The water dispenser was empty. The bidet fell off the wall, apparently because its tile wasn't secured properly. The kitchen bar stools were also so high they were impractical to sit on.

It was cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We had a lovely stay and would happily return. Definitely recommend it.

The beaches are about 20-30 minutes away by car, and Uluwatu temple is around 40 minutes. We got around with Grab, which worked out fine, though renting a motorbike or car would suit this beautiful villa. It isn't large, but the space is cleverly laid out. A great place for a few days, and I highly recommend it.
