Timbis Homestay Bali

The garden and outdoor areas were peaceful and full of charm, and our room was really comfortable. At Timbis Homestay, the family made us feel right at home. They were so kind and caring, and always ready to help. We could rent scooters there too, and they were flexible and accommodating. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it.

The massage they offer was great, and there's a 24/7 supermarket just a three-minute walk away for when you get hungry. The simple rooms were clean, and the little pool sits in a lovely garden with a relaxing feel. I enjoyed this stay much more than my last one near the Uluwatu temple, which cost three times as much. Very recommendable.

The garden and pool were beautiful, and the place stayed quiet and calm, even when fully booked. No traffic or loud guests. The host was very helpful, the bed was good, and the room was clean with a spacious bathroom and warm water. The AC worked really well, at least during my stay. You can get a good breakfast for 40k from the uncle's family, through the garden on the neighbouring property. Scooter rental is available too, and I'd suggest it. In every direction, you're only about 15-20 minutes away from exploring the entire island of Uluwatu.

We were able to switch rooms the next day, and the new one was much better. The first room smelled bad and wasn't very clean. It's a basic place but good otherwise, with a nice location. I did miss having chairs or loungers by the pool. They should also clean out the refrigerator, since I think guests leave food and drinks behind when they check out.
