The Ocean View Suite was clean and comfortable, and waking up to that calming view was lovely. I liked how peaceful the place felt, with fewer people around than I’d expected. Check-in was easy, the staff were friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed the food at Andrawina too. I’d happily stay here again.

The shared areas and beachfront grounds at Rumah Luwih Bali are beautiful, grand, and peaceful. The staff were warm and welcoming the whole time. Our room, though, smelled damp and felt worn compared with the rest of the property. It’s also quite isolated, with little nearby, so keep that in mind when booking. There’s potential here, but the rooms need updating.

The restaurant service was great, and the people working here are genuinely thoughtful and kind. The gym could use some attention: it’s small and smelled bad. Rearranging the equipment, changing the floor, and adding a mirror or two might make a real difference. The hotel is on the beach, but swimming isn’t advised. We had to take a taxi to eat outside the hotel, and issues with local taxis and Grab drivers made the location feel a little isolated.

We finally stayed for a night last weekend with our kids, after driving past for years. What a lovely gem. The huge garden feels like a landscape park, and the rooms are clean with a cool vintage feel. The staff were so friendly, especially Ibu Ani at breakfast. The late afternoon pool attendant was great too, though I didn’t get his name. We’ll be back.

The sea view was amazing, and the staff were extremely friendly. We had a fantastic two nights at Rumah Luwih, and the room we booked was worth every penny, cent, or rupiah.
