Cliff Park Lembongan

We spent 9 days here at the end of October, and it was such a calm, relaxing stay. The infinity pool looks out over a beautiful view. We spotted dolphins a few times and turtles every day, and there were loungers and a couple of hammocks to unwind in. Our room was clean and comfortable. The outdoor bathroom was new to me, and I loved the netting around the bed and waking up to the ocean right outside. The staff were always pleasant and smiling, and nothing we asked for seemed like too much. I’d happily come back.

The front huts gave us a great spot to sit and watch the ocean several times a day. The view is hard to overstate, and the grounds were looked after well. Everyone staying there was respectful, and the staff were incredibly attentive. It’s a gorgeous, peaceful corner of the world and a real highlight of our trip. The place is a little aged, but it felt like home and was very comfortable.

The views are excellent and it feels like good value for money. It’s in a fairly out-of-the-way spot, though, with few places nearby to get lunch or dinner. After dark it’s completely dark around there, and getting around is really difficult without your own vehicle. You can hear different animals in the small trees and forest nearby.

The view from the property is what earned the three stars for me. The road there is secluded, and it felt like we were staying in a village. There was just one person handling everything, from breakfast to check-in and check-out. There’s no restaurant on site, and the breakfast portions they provide are quite small for one person. The room needs renovation, and the lighting was much too dim.
