Once we reached the resort, everything was great: service, breakfast, and the views over the bay and ocean from the hill. It's really quiet and serene, with a small, very clean pool. The staff and upper management were lovely and accommodating, and the manager replied quickly on WhatsApp and was easy to reach. Getting there is a bit tricky, though. The resort is up a steep hill, and the climb would be annoying without a scooter. The narrow, steep road entrance is easy to miss, but there's a small sign off the main road that says "SUNDAY HUTS RESORT". Highly recommend. One catch: the shower had only cold water, no warm or hot.

The ocean and Ceningan are right out front, and the view is insane. It feels peaceful, beautiful and authentic. Staff are sooo welcoming and friendly, and breakfast is nice each day. There's a handful of restaurants and shops nearby, and with a scooter everything is only a short ride away. Really recommend this place. 💚

Really nice stay for a couple of nights, with a lovely room, swimming pool and breakfast. The view takes in the ocean and seaweed cultivation. The 100m road from the main road to the hotel involves a little hike, and there are a few barking dogs that might scare some people, but it's a very nice place overall and deserves five stars in everything.

We meant to stay just two nights, but getting our diving certification and loving Sunday Huts kept us there for almost a week. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were really clean. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone after a chill, lovely stay on the island.

We loved the hut's view of the kelp fields, the water and Ceningan Island. The pool and garden were lovely, too. Inside, the bed's mosquito net canopy was practical and made it feel a bit fancy, and the AC worked well. We weren't sure about the semi-outdoor bathroom at first, but it really grew on us. Breakfast was top-notch and made fresh each morning, with local and more Western choices. The nasi or mie goreng are definite picks. Give it time if you're on a schedule, though we weren't. The host was kind and helpful. He let us ride a scooter to the port and carried our bags there on another scooter. There aren't many places to eat right nearby beyond an Italian restaurant down the hill and a seafood place we didn't feel brave enough to try, since it didn't seem to get many customers. We were told it wasn't quite peak tourist season. Luckily, the host rents scooters or mopeds at a very reasonable rate, so you can get to restaurants and attractions farther away. We had an amazing stay. I'd come back in a heartbeat and tell family and friends to stay here, too.
