Penginapan Jangkar

There wasn’t much nearby for food, and arriving late made the booking problem especially stressful. We’d reserved and paid online, but the place was full because they hadn’t closed the booking system. Since the town was also fully booked, we were left in a difficult spot. In the end, some guests staying there rearranged things and gave us their room.

That night left me feeling unsafe. Around midnight, someone suddenly tried my doorknob, which was extremely disturbing and unprofessional. I’d come hoping to sleep, but the noise had already kept me up, and I ended up awake all night. I won’t stay here again or recommend it. For this price, there are much more decent and professional places in Luwuk. I’d booked a non-smoking room through the app but was given a smoking one. At first I accepted it after being told it wouldn’t smell of cigarettes, but it absolutely did, especially the curtains. The AC leaked and couldn’t cool a room of that size properly. The walls and bathroom floor were dirty, the slippers didn’t match, and the sheets had holes. Wi-Fi was awful and the shower had very little water. Around 12:30 PM, the receptionist was on the inn’s terrace with friends, playing jangly music so loudly that it carried up to the second-floor rooms. I’d arrived to rest, but it was hard to sleep. The room might have been bearable for a short break, but that noise was intolerable. A really disappointing stay, neither comfortable nor safe.

The room’s spacious and fairly clean. The AC seems a bit undersized for a room this big, though 😅😍

Breakfast was tasty yellow rice 👍. We didn’t have towels or slippers in the room, and soap and shampoo were missing during our stay.
