This is a very basic dorm inside the Perhutani training center, and it works better for backpackers than for anyone wanting comforts. There’s no TV or AC, and the cold water is the only option, though I found it refreshing. The attached wet bathroom is outside the room. You won’t get a blanket, soap, or towel, but there’s a minimarket nearby where you can buy them. Green space surrounds both sides of the room, with plenty of real mosquitoes. It also gets a little dark at night, which could be challenging for some people.

The service was really nice, and breakfast came in such a big portion that I thought it was lunch. They also served tea and hot water. We rented a large room with two double beds and AC, with the bathroom and toilet separate. In daylight the garden is lovely, but the rooms felt creepy at night, haha. The place is surrounded by eco forest, though getting there by car is easy. The lighting is the one drawback. We often came back at night and had to walk through a dark corridor that felt like a hospital (*_*).
For Rp.190.000, the standard room had no Wi-Fi, hot water, AC, or even bottled water, and there were mosquitoes too. If you're staying overnight in Madiun, look somewhere else. It wasn't worth the money.
It’s an average place to stay, though having the toilet outside the bedroom is inconvenient.
Well done.
