Hotel O Central Madiun Near Stasiun Kota Madiun

I can’t understand how anyone gives this place more than one star. The bathroom was disgusting, with cobwebs in every corner and a dirty toilet, tiles, and showerhead. The bed was uncomfortable and the sheets had holes; the pillows and covers smelled musty. There wasn’t even a sink in the room, so I don’t know how you’re meant to wash your hands or brush your teeth and keep reasonably clean. This was the worst hotel stay in my four months of travel. Don’t trust the photos.

The rate was good, and the location works well for exploring food in Madiun. But after I booked through OYO and arrived at the hotel, they rejected my reservation, saying their contract with OYO had ended.

The staff were friendly, and at check-in we got a towel and soap. My guesthouse room was roomy and comfortable, with a TV and fairly cool AC. The bathroom had good water too.

The room smelled musty, and the AC didn't cool. When I walked in, the floor was wet and sticky, and the bathroom mat was muddy and wet. The bathroom was dirty, with lots of cobwebs on the walls and dim lighting. The app promo price didn’t match what I paid. At check-in they asked for another 50,000 in cash. When I questioned it angrily, they said app bookings cost an extra 50,000 per night. I was tired and it was MLM day, so I ended up paying. The cleanliness was poor. I wouldn’t recommend it.
