Walking distance to Pantai Losari, and really affordable for a spacious room with a great breakfast buffet. The team was friendly and quick, and Kak Andika looked after us so well during breakfast. They’re also trying to cut down on plastic by putting a water dispenser on each floor, so guests can refill instead of using bottled water. I’ll stay here again when I’m back in Makassar.

You get a nice-looking, comfortable-sized room with a sea and beach view, plus more clothes hangers than most hotels. But that’s about where the good points stop for me. I won’t be back. The mattress is so hard that I woke up sore instead of rested. There are only two pillows, and an extra costs 50,000. You get just one free set of plates and utensils, with another set costing 10,000. There’s no bottled water either. They give you a jug to fill yourself, but the dispenser is painfully slow.

The view was stunning, and everything else felt just as good: a spotless room, a bed like a cloud, and genuinely friendly staff. I had an amazing stay and will definitely come back.

I won’t stay at this hotel again. The service was really bad, and they’re so stingy over little things that might make guests happy. I asked housekeeping for extra creamer in the morning. They said they’d check, but never brought any or answered my call. When I accidentally broke a glass, I told them right away. Instead of asking if I was okay, they focused on charging me Rp100.000 for a cup worth Rp10.000 or less. Ridiculous. Luar biasa Pelit!!!! If I could, I’d give this hotel zero stars.
