They even brought fruit to my stepmother’s room when she was sick, and the staff were so friendly and focused on helping. The rooms were clean and really good, with lounge and bed areas both upstairs and downstairs, plus a private pool. Best resort in Bintan. WOULD RECOMMEND!

D & Intan were especially lovely, always smiling, prompt, and friendly, and their service really made our anniversary stay pleasant. We spent 4 days and 3 nights at Villa Isla and had a good time overall. The food at the resort was decent and suited our taste, so it was easy to eat there. Some of the facilities could be better for guest comfort, though. A decent 4D3N getaway, with the service as the best part 😊

The nicest part was the lovely staff and security guard, and the automated toilet was another plus, though its bidet spray didn’t work. The rest of the room had several problems: loose sockets, rusty metal, a dirty kettle, and stained towels and sheets. The room felt poorly maintained. The steps down toward the sea were mouldy and could be dangerous if you’re bringing kids. The private pool had flies and water spiders in it, so we didn’t dare try the public pool afterward. The TV was outdated too, with no Netflix and no working HDMI output.

That lawn event took away the fifth star for us. A group of about 20 people had a private event by the chapel, and from around 6pm they sang karaoke loudly, then kept dining with loudspeakers on until 9pm. They were still going at it then. I hope the team keeps an eye on speaker volume during events, or uses the empty enclosed event room so guests don’t have to put up with the noise. The stay itself had plenty to like. Check-in was fast, and the staff were attentive, helpful, and polite. The resort atmosphere was excellent, with a clean, spacious room and the relaxing feel we needed. Restaurant food was good and not too pricey for the location, the fridge was well stocked, and bicycles were available at every villa to use for free. Will definitely be back.
