I got the third floor after asking for a high floor, then found there was no lift. The room was clean and spacious, but the heater didn’t work well and the shower leaked. Check-in was quick, and the receptionist was there when we arrived at about 10 pm.

Two months after another review mentioned the lack of hot shower water, it still wasn’t fixed. That’s disgraceful. The staff seemed to spend all day looking at their phones. Deep cleaning and maintenance would do a lot to improve the accommodation.

The rooms are comfortable enough for a family, and the price is the cheapest. The parking area can be a little difficult, though still acceptable. This homestay received an award for cleanliness. From the room or rooftop, you can see the city of Malang and the mountains. It’s also well located for the university area, Malang Town Square, and nighttime food on Seokarno Hatta street, or early Sunday morning.
