The Bromo tour offered by the hotel was a really nice experience. Service was very friendly, and the rooms were large and clean, with comfortable beds. The hotel is outside Malang city center, but Grab makes getting into town easy and cheap.

I liked the ambience, the view and the weather. It feels fairly private and has a nice swimming pool you can use as often as you like. Wifi is available, though there’s no TV cable yet. The food could use more variety, but maybe that’ll improve in future. So far, it’s been a good place to rest and spend quality time with loved ones.

Breakfast had no fruit or juices, but all the food was tasty. There wasn’t anywhere to eat in the evening. The place isn’t central, though Grab costs around 1 dolar. The room price on agoda was 100 RP per night more expensive.

The hilltop setting gives you a lovely view over Malang, and it’s away from the heavy traffic. The staff were really welcoming, too. Good value for the price.
