Redisa Guest House by Reddoors

After an 18-hour trip from Banjarmasin, I was traveling by train from Surabaya to Malang when I booked this place. We arrived late at night, even though I'd booked before Isha prayer, and the room still wasn't ready. The atmosphere was cool, and the sound of the deep river beneath the building was beautiful. But the bathroom had no water, just a powerful shower, so I didn't get to shower before checkout. The bed was damp, the backrest dirty, and the chair dusty. At least we were given two bath towels, which we didn't even have time to use. Still grateful.

My Agoda refund is still a confusing mess a week later. I booked a week ago, but when I arrived they refused the reservation, saying they no longer worked with Oyo. Since it was late and I had my children with me, I had to pay again and stay there. I should have turned around right then.

The lobby staff came across as so rude to guests, sorry to say. After a long trip, I expected to check in and rest, but my Agoda booking still showed Oyo and they said the partnership had ended, so I had to find somewhere else at the last minute. Please sort out the listing quickly if you no longer work together. What a shame for travelers who arrive expecting a room.

The room was poorly looked after, and the bathroom water barely flowed. The toilet kept clogging, so showering and using it were difficult. Service was just as disappointing: the waiter ignored me when I called, until I had to reprimand him harshly. This stay left me angry instead of happy. I can't recommend it, and that's why I gave one star.
