I’m grateful they let me check in early. Ms. Thalia Bella at the reception counter was very helpful.

I was shocked by the salad: the leaves had black, rotten edges. The cabbage also had holes, clearly eaten by bugs or perhaps a snail, judging by the tracks. I’d never been served anything like this before, and it looked completely different from my usual orders of the same meal in Bali. I ate the parts that were still edible because I didn’t want to waste food, but I couldn’t touch the rest. Truly shocking and disappointing.

We chose this for one night because we had an early train the next morning, and the location was the only good thing about it. The standard room was very basic. The toilet smelled awful, there was no hot water or Wi-Fi, and they didn’t even provide toilet paper. We wouldn’t return or recommend it.

Good value for the price. The room was pretty clean, and the staff were really friendly.
