I was happy staying here for eight days. The lobby staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel has useful facilities: Wi-Fi, TV, hot water, drinking water, a pool, billiards, a cafeteria, and laundry. They also offer free airport pick-up and drop-off, plus afternoon snacks from 4 to 6 PM. There are four room types, starting at IDR 300K per night, and it’s near Frans Seda Airport. My one disappointment was housekeeping. I had to ask before they properly cleaned the room. Aside from that, Pelita is a hotel I’d recommend.

We held a four-day conference here, and the meeting rooms were okay. It’s a peaceful place to relax, with a great sea view. The room was fine and the food was good.

Breakfast was fried rice, fried noodles, a little fruit, and coffee or tea. The staff weren’t friendly at all. If you’re hoping for a great hotel beside a nice beach, I’d look somewhere else.

It’s one of the better hotels in Maumere. Just keep in mind that its prices and facilities shouldn’t be compared with hotels in Java or Bali.
