RedDoorz Premium @ Setiabudi Medan

I have stayed with RedDoorz before and never had a bad experience with the brand. This time at [Hotel Name], though, I was deeply disappointed. I have also seen many similar complaints from other guests, which makes me worry that this hotel's service problem is systemic and nobody is addressing it. Reception was unresponsive, and the rest of the staff weren't helpful either. I had to ask several times to get simple things done. It was a subpar stay, and I feel like I was the unlucky guest who had to put up with it, while many people just overlook these issues instead of filing a complaint. I know RedDoorz is a budget chain, but basic hospitality should still be there. Staff should respond promptly, help guests properly, and know how to interact with guests differently from how they treat personal friends. I urge RedDoorz management to act right away and train the staff to provide good customer service. I hope RedDoorz takes this feedback seriously and makes the needed improvements. I think the brand could be a great budget hotel chain, but customer satisfaction has to be a priority. Thank you for your time and consideration.

I ended up camping there for three days, and it was the worst experience ever. The room, bedsheets, and bathroom were dirty, and there were mosquitoes. It looked nothing like the booking photos. They didn't provide towels, there was no water, and there wasn't even a trash can. I don't recommend it.

The standard room is roomy, and the suite is even bigger, with space for a large family. But there are a couple of things that need work. There's no lift, so you have to take the stairs. Cleanliness was an issue during my two-night stay: the room never got cleaned, even after I put out the room-cleaning tag. There was no towel in the room either, so I had to ask reception for one.

The TV and AC worked, and the room itself was okay. But the bathroom smelled because it stayed wet, and a few things were broken, including the door handle, sink, and toilet. You'll need to ask for service here instead of waiting for anyone to offer it.
