Malole Surf House

Our bungalow at Malole was spacious, nicely decorated, and cleaned every day, with the sheets and towels changed regularly. It was one of the few beachfront places where you can see the surf from your room, since many others have their bar or restaurant at the front. The food was amazing, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We had a great time and would definitely stay again when we return to Rote. Thanks Maria, Diego and Dani!

I spent four weeks at Malole in October 2020, and it was an ideal place to go from Bali during such a strange time. The waves were uncrowded and world-class, the hospitality was excellent, and the food was great every day. Since the owners are experienced surfers, they gave me tips and support that helped me improve my surfing. I’m very grateful to the Malole team. Highly recommended.

We just had our second family holiday at Malole, and the surf is right in front of your bungalow. The family room is super spacious, on the first floor, and has a 360 degree view. The accommodation is simple but really comfortable, and probably in the best spot on the whole beach. The food was top class, varied and healthy. They even made a birthday cake for our 5yr old daughter! The owners and staff, Maria, Diego and Dany, are super nice. It’s a perfect place for a family break.

There’s a real community feel at Malole, with everyone eating together like a family. I made a lot of friends for life during the month I stayed, and the surfing was awesome too. I’ve never had food or service this amazing. I’ll always come back, and I’d recommend anyone stay here.
