We booked two rooms and had a good stay, even during peak season. For a two-star hotel, it was pretty good, and the shortcomings were manageable. It’s a bit far from the city center but right beside the highway to Pare. The rooms weren’t spacious, but they followed the requests in our booking note: non-smoking rooms, connected rooms, and one twin room’s beds pushed together to make a larger bed. That was good service. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the bathrooms weren’t too smelly. One bathroom had a clogged floor drain, so we had to open it to help the water drain faster. The sheets and towels were old and no longer very white, but they were changed daily. The food tasted good. The restaurant for in-room dining closes at 8 pm, though, and it would be helpful if it stayed open later, especially during mudik season when guests may arrive late at night.

The location worked well, though it isn’t close to shopping centers. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our connected rooms were clean and convenient for the family. The towels felt quite old and should be replaced.

The pool looked nice, and the staff were a 10. Breakfast was an 8 out of 10 by local standards. The room gets a 6 from me if you can manage a hard mattress. There’s a kettle in every room, which I liked. I’m not a morning person, so the lack of soundproofing was a deal breaker for me. The window is nice during the day, but morning light came into the room and really disturbed my sleep. It’s a good hotel, just didn’t meet my expectations, and I won’t be back. Still, it was an okay stay overall.

The staff were nice, and I was able to check in early and check out late. The room I got was narrow, and breakfast had only a little variety, though that’s okay for a budget hotel. The pool was under construction, which disappointed me at first, but my children were still able to swim. Thanks, FOI hotel. Maybe next time I’ll book a larger room.
