The quick response when booking made things easy, even with limited time. When my kids and I arrived, we were welcomed with hot tea. Staying here felt like visiting an aunt’s home, and we were really satisfied. There’s warm water, a living room, a swing guests can use freely, WiFi, and a mushola for Muslim guests to pray. It’s a cozy, family-friendly place, and we all enjoyed our stay.

The room was comfortable and the service was good, but several areas leaked when it rained: the upstairs room, the kitchen, and the downstairs room. The extra bed got wet, too, and the TV wouldn’t turn on. I’m sorry to the owner of Simply Homy. This is what I experienced, and I don’t mean to put the place down. 🙏 Please give the maintenance more attention so guests can be more comfortable.

The main issue is upstairs ventilation. Air from downstairs seems to get trapped in the ceiling, so the house feels stuffy and less comfortable in hot weather, especially when the family is together in the living room. Each bedroom does have air conditioning, which helps with sleeping. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

The Wi-Fi worked well with the Android box I brought from home, so the kids could stream. The house was clean and had four air-conditioned bedrooms. I’m not used to Airbnbs, so it felt odd having someone else in the house, though this was my first time renting a house where someone stayed to look after it 😆. I gave four stars because the second-floor tiles were all coming loose, which felt dangerous.
