We could also rent a driver, a really friendly guy who took us all over the island. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout our stay. My family and I had a great time here, and the hotel arranged a nanny for 50.000 indr. She was wonderful with the kids.

We spent a lot of time enjoying the clean, refreshing pool, and the staff were so friendly about arranging several taxis for us. You can rent motorbikes here too. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was great, and the air con worked well. The location isn't the best, but there are a couple of restaurants and a little shop close by, which was handy.

The dorm is a complete disaster. The bunks are so wobbly that any movement from the person above or below wakes you up, and the beds make a lot of noise. They need to be screwed to the wall. There's just one bathroom for six people. Wi-Fi is awful everywhere on the property. There's no phone signal or data either, so working here would be impossible. You need a scooter to stay here, and restaurants are about a 20-minute ride away. They charged us 500k for a manta ray trip. Three days later, we did the exact same tour through an agency for the usual price of 250k. What a rip-off.

The grounds were beautiful and so peaceful, and the location worked really well for us. Our spacious, clean room had a super comfortable bed, so we slept great. The staff were always checking if we needed help with tours or transfers, and the food there was tasty too. The only small letdown was the scooter rental. Ours was very old and barely worked, though you can rent one at the harbour if needed.
