RedDoorz Plus Syariah @ Jalan Dr Sutomo Padang

The room itself was clean and really good for the price, better than many places in Padang at the same rate. But our family left very unhappy with the staff. Checkout took a while because they had to inspect the room, and then we heard them whispering rudely to each other that an item was missing. They looked at us as though we’d taken it, so we searched and even unpacked our luggage to make sure we hadn’t accidentally brought it with us. In the end, the item was in their locked cabinet and the staff couldn’t find it. Nobody apologized after it turned up. Being treated like we’d stolen something cheap was a terrible experience. Politeness and service are part of what a hotel sells.
