The lack of a door chain or latch worried me because staff could come into the room in the middle of the night. If privacy matters to you, I don't think this is a good choice. Aside from that, it's a good hotel for the price. The rooms are fairly clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and polite. The water temperature varies, sometimes hot, sometimes only warm. Breakfast was pretty spartan, but still good enough to eat.

The hosts were so welcoming, and even helped us get from the bus terminal to the place for less money. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the AC worked well. We’re just not used to cold shower water, so that was the one downside. Thanks 😁

For a budget hotel, the room size and layout were pretty good, and everything was clean. The syari' atmosphere felt genuine. They provide murattal and prayer amenities.

Finding the hotel took a bit of effort since it’s in a residential area, but once there, the location was very convenient, right in the heart of Palembang. Palembang Icon, the new LRT station, and Palembang Square are all walkable. The room was clean, Wi-Fi was pretty good, and breakfast had enough options. Definitely worth the price, and I’d recommend it.

The hotel was good in general, but it’s “syariah” and everything is centered around Islam. The staff didn’t seem racist, but as a non-Muslim I still felt uncomfortable coming in. Why divide people by religion? Aren’t we all the same in God’s eyes?
