There are plenty of food stalls within walking distance along the main road, especially at night. That's the one real plus here. For the same price, you can find a better room at another hotel with the same star rating in Palembang. The room on the ground floor is very basic, with concrete fixtures instead of furniture. Tissue only comes in a few pieces, and you have to ask the receptionist for more every time. The air conditioner is so loud it can get in the way of a good night's sleep. If you aren't fussy, you might put up with the shortcomings, but the comfort here feels compromised for what you pay. I wouldn't recommend MM Hotel for a comfortable long stay.
